Yeah, but think how many part time jobs the people working 70 hours a week would create because they no longer have time to take care of their own basic needs. There’d be whole new industries like “professional asswipe” because time is money, and time spent wiping your own ass is holding you back from the grind.

For all the potential mental health benefits of banning cell phones, we should probably focus on stopping school shootings first. Until we’ve done that, I’m more likely to believe that cell phone bans are more about politicians not wanting to hear voicemails from dead kids telling their parents they love them one last time, than anything being done for the wellbeing of students.
Probably better that way, if it was going to launch this year, it probably should have been shown off already. It would also be the big gift item everyone wants under their tree this Christmas, and they wouldn’t be able to keep up with demand and between scalping and low stock everyone would be as upset as they were when they couldn’t get a PS5. If they launch in the Spring, the fans who are going to want to buy one on day one should have their units in hand before the holiday rush and it should be easier to keep up with demand, since their two biggest buyer waves won’t hit at the same time.
Most would, but insurance companies have also been cancelling coverage and no longer offering it in many areas where climate change has the most potential to cause damage. For example flood insurance in Florida and Fire insurance in California. So it’s less common than it was 10 years ago just because in some areas it has become unavailable.
