Calling them out for what they are has benefits. Deplorables, ignoramuses, tards, rednecks, racists, fascists, xenophobes… it causes them to double down and embrace those terms, which in turn causes them to increasingly say the quiet parts out loud. This means that those of us woke generations tasked with mopping up the wasteland the boomers created, and shepherding the planet through collapse, can identify and ignore these imbeciles. It’s important; deitifying Trump is nothing short of a mental disorder.
