    Fuck JK Rowling.

    I cannot believe 1 ruling from a court I’d never heard before about the make up of Scottish boards has taken so many rights away.

    All these people claiming “common sense prevailed” can go fuck themselves. Bigots.

    In associations - groups or clubs with more than 25 members - the EHRC says “a women-only or lesbian-only association should not admit trans women (biological men), and a men-only or gay men-only association should not admit trans men (biological women)”.

    That all seems a bit muddled and exclusive. Surely it should be up to the club who they want to admit?

    Maybe we should ban single sex spaces and associations, and everybody can do what they want? There’s no good reason for gender specific bathrooms anyway.

    In the UK, there is a lot of pressure for “men only” spaces to be more inclusive (i.e. not men only), whereas “women only” spaces are celebrated and protected. I think this is going to take us into a very strange place, where trans men have more rights than trans women, thus laying the ground for another generation of discrimination.
