Depends whose side is looking. For Israel they got to kill 250,000 humans that they consider animals, without even being called out for it. They probably won’t let more aid in after they get their hostages out and will start up the destruction again in a few weeks or months.

I’d be pissed and grappling with grief and anger if the country that was supposed to be rescuing them, had no intention of rescuing them because of political reasons and had killed more of the hostages than the their captors.
In fact I’d probably be even more upset that the country they belong to has a directive to kill their own people rather than let them be taken hostage because concessions and trades would have to take place if Hamas had hostages.
