Hopefully their egos are bigger than their devotion to Trump. I don’t say that in a negative way. They literally have 33% of the power in government and spent decades ascending to the position they are in. Why should they give it all up to the loon in the executive branch who will be gone in less than four years? They certainly have the power to keep him from being a dictator if they exercise it, as was the entire point of the three branch system.
