When I graduated nursing school flight nursing (medical emergency air transport) was very in vogue. Every cute lil nursing student was taking shitty new grad ICU jobs to get the requisite experience (then got promptly shredded by COVID; we graduated just as it was peaking). And those jobs were real shitty, all the classy ICUs don’t take new grads, so they were working through COVID in the ICUs that really and truly gave 0 fucks. Wonder how they’re all doing now that the decline in Healthcare safety has to compete with the decline in air traffic safety…
