It doesn’t have to affect affordable housing if we keep investment banks out of the market and pay people living wages to build houses again. My dad was a carpenter and most of his buddies took jobs at Home Depot and Walmart because the big contracting companies didn’t want to pay them. Or only called when shit had gone wrong and needed fixing by a known expert.
