As Disney has raised the cost of tickets and hotel rooms at its theme parks, and added pricey, difficult-to-navigate tools, even its most loyal fans are asking themselves if they should rethink their vacations.

    Went recently and had the worst time. The most exhausting experience I have done. The fact it cost almost like $750+ a day (including travel and hotel) with several people made us want to get everything done and ruined the relaxation part. Plus the 2 hr long lines is ridiculous. Even with the lightning pass it was 1 hour. If it was cheaper we could have did more days and took our time and Maybe have a better time.

      Same experience we had when we went. Even with the ‘fast pass’ having the exhausting experience of having to either wait forever in lines or be at x place at x time (to see whatever experience) meant we were not enjoying ourselves but rather racing thru the park on a set schedule.

      We’ve decided we won’t be going back but rather sticking to smaller theme parks where we can enjoy ourselves on our schedule or just more outdoor environments.

      Disney definitely isn’t magical. At least not anymore.

        I went to hersey park after and had an even worst time but in their defense it was opening weekend and I went to Disney on off season.
