All of it artificial or driven by corporate users. Basically, Microsoft started ignoring the default browser preference set by users and sets most of their own apps to always open Edge. That and businesses wanting to de-Google themselves but they don’t really want to switch from Chrome, so Edge falls into the category of “close enough and we already have it”.
