What GOG is trying is great and all but I can’t help but be completely eyefucked by this

Blizzard recently announced that it is releasing a remastered version of Warcraft and Warcraft 2 and, as a result, have announced the original versions of those games will be delisted

Why the fuck do they do this? Do they resent their roots? Why not have the remaster and the original exist simultaneously?

They did this with Warcraft 3 too. Just deleted the old game wincluding the multiplayer features, and replaced it with low effort re-“master” slop. Even if it was good, it wouldn’t have been okay.
