Canadians could simpley increase prices of maple syrup by 200% and force them back to the table.
Just kidding that only works in countries (every country world wide) that aren’t USA because the average american will somehow convince you in a 1v1 that Aunt Jemima is the premium quality real syrup and eat that anyways cause they have no more natural feel for what tastes good/ bad anymore.
I am actually quite suprised that americans use Aunt Jemima instead of real syrup if the country that produces it is just above them LOL.
This syrup topic is really horrible for me because I went to america and expected the best pancakes ever and almost everywhere I went they gave me that stuff. I hate it when my cousin tells me they have the best pancakes in USA and they always screw em up with that Aunt Jemima stuff. I made pancakes when my american family side visited and they were like: “You don’t have other syrup?” …
I notice it everytime but americans have to be the most fake friendly and toxic people ever. They smile in your face, invite you to dinner and pay only their part or just say “Can’t wait to see you again soon” on repeat and never ever make a move to visit.
No this isn’t cause I live in Germany. They use facebook like a diary and my cousin never visited his brother in Florida once the last 5 years but if you scroll down the facebook page you will see: “Happy BDAY BROOO can’t wait to see you, hope it works out this year would be a blast!!!” like every year.
