I’m not in Canada, but pretty much every day I have a “close call “. I go out of my way to take less busy roads and bike paths but it is crazy traveling the roads as a cyclist.
I stick to sidewalks. Dgaf about the ‘law’ stating otherwise. It’s easier to avoid a pedestrian then it is to avoid a travelling car.
Only ever had close calls with cars…never with people.
