I’ll be honest, of all national fast food chains, I was only really interested in Carl’s Jr. But ever since they started their AI drive thru system, I’ve stopped going. It is nothing but constant attempts to upsell, and takes twice as long to place an order as a normal person. I want a double Big Carl with onion, a large iced tea, and that’s it. No fries, cookies, or whatever else. I spend more time saying no to their “offers” than actually ordering, so I’m just done. Plus, for $3 more, I can go get a really bomb and healthy sandwich from my local deli up the road, I just have to get out of the car.
