Spintronics uses the spins of electrons to perform logic operations or store information. Ideally, spintronic devices could operate faster and more energy-efficiently than conventional semiconductor devices. However, it is still difficult to create and manipulate spin textures in materials.

    Hmm… what technology to bank on after AI pops? Smart hustle is probably on quantum computing, already a fair bit of snakeoil there, but honestly I want to go long on spintronics! It’s a cool buzzword, it sounds accessible yet high tech, and despite my best efforts I have very little idea what it’s about or how it works!

    Time to write up a white paper like “Spintronic circuits are the future of quantum security” and see if I can collect some of that sweet sweet VC money!
