I’d like to see the people who were commenting along the lines of “these were extremely targeted strikes” and “most surgical of surgical strikes” explain why this girl is dead?
Either those assertions were indeed correct and these were extremely targeted, which would mean Israel killed a 9-year old girl on purpose — OR the attacks were indiscriminate bombings in civilian places.
So which one is it?
The pager attack was not a work of technical genius, nor was it targeted. Those are just lies the media is telling. They rigged a shipment of pagers from Taiwan or Hungaria with explosives. They have no idea who had them, they just figured at least some of them would go to people in Hezbollah. It’s just indiscriminate terrorism.
