Occupational and physical therapies already exist. The article does list other services, like assistance with CVs. Having said that, it also states that these issues affect 2.8 million people and that this program has a budget of £1.5 million. Having paid a CV service before, I find it hard to believe that a few pounds per person will be enough. Is this a “every little bit helps” kind of thing? Is it performative?

I very much dislike this tactic.

“We have reduced expenses by millions!”

“This is a trillion-pound budget. That’s equivalent to the average person saying they saved a few pounds this past year.”

That’s my perspective on it anyway. Nonetheless, at least it’s something going to help people.
