    One could conclude that the motivation for research has been distorted by the compulsion to publish something. One might also argue we are no longer seeking the truth but confirming some narrative. What could possibly interfere with the noble quest to understand the world a little better, surely it’s rewards are sufficient?

    If low n study hasn’t been pre registered, consider it with the appropriate degree of scepticism. Disconfirming and negative results are not the problem, they are integral to the solution.
