Dude has probably never even been to a gas station or a grocery store. He’s probably always had people cook for him and he never learned to drive. His only frame of reference for either is TV from the 80s and 90s which might explain why he thinks everything is cheap.

literally everything i bought this week and last at the supermarket was more expensive than it was the last time i purchased every one of the approx three dozen items… except for one thing, a loaf of bread, and a few things that were clearance/close-out priced (close-dated, freight damaged, etc)
