    It’s good for us to remember that it’s not a skill issue in recognizing potential corruption. They’re just very cool with corruption when the color of the hat is their favorite.

      From what I’ve seen, they’re taught to “trust their gut” which essentially just means “if you don’t like it, it’s probably corruption, but otherwise it’s probably not.” It’s an effective way to shift the focus away from the actual actions that define corruption regardless of emotional and political context, and toward an easily exploitable game of “you’ll like what we tell you to like.”
