Allowance Tokens allow you to increase how much gold you start each day with in Blue Prince.
Once you find your first Allowance Token, you’ll be able to collect your allowance in an envelope in the Entrance Hall, but Allowance Tokens can be pretty hard to come by. If you don’t know where to look or how to increase your allowance, you may be stuck at zero starting gold for a very long time.
To make your search easier, here’s where you can find every Allowance Token in Blue Prince plus a few ways to easily increase your allowance.
All Allowance Token locations in Blue Prince
There are a lot of ways to increase your allowance in Blue Prince. Most methods will involve solving a Mora Jai puzzle box, but you can also find Allowance Tokens outright or increase your allowance through room effects.
Below, we’ve listed every room in which you can find an Allowance Token:

The best way to increase your allowance in Blue Prince
The most efficient way to increase your allowance in Blue Prince is through the experiments conducted in the Laboratory. If you’ve chosen a “cause” that can be easily reproduced along with the “permanently add one gold to your allowance” effect, you’ll be able to add a lot of gold to your daily allowance.
Some of the most easily reproduced triggers include digging up trash (with the Root Cellar) and bypassing or unlocking security doors (on high security), but the best trigger comes after you’ve unlocked the one of the late game permanent additions, the Satellite Dish.
The Satellite Dish adds more experimental triggers and effects, with one of the triggers being “each time you view your map, lose 10 steps and then.” This trigger may sound terrible at first, but, if you’ve upgraded your Nursery to the Nurse’s Station, you’ll be able to infinitely increase your allowance.
The Nurse’s Station allows you to set your steps to 20 if you have fewer than 10 steps when you enter the room. If you pair the Nurse’s Station’s effect with the map trigger, you’ll just need to view your map and walk into the room over and over again to increase your allowance.
