I understand what the author is saying, but billionaires have everything to lose, even if they don’t realize it. Their money may make it easier to flee if things go wrong, but really it’s the working class with nothing to lose.

And if billionaires think they’ll be better off without the rule of law and the present financial system, they’re in for a rude awakening.
