Mora Jai puzzle boxes in Blue Prince feature a 3×3 grid of variously colored square tiles. To solve them, you’ll need to set each corner tile to a specific color.

The puzzle boxes can be particularly confusing, especially if you don’t know what each colored tile does. Occasionally, you’ll find yourself pressing tiles at random hoping the tiles will miraculously land in their respective corner, but we all know that rarely works!

Below, we’ve explained how to solve Mora Jai puzzle boxes, including a rundown of what each colored tile does, a step-by-solution solution on how to open the Trading Post puzzle box as an example, and a list of the rewards you’ll get for doing so.

How to solve Mora Jai puzzle boxes in Blue Prince

To solve and open a Mora Jai puzzle box in Blue Prince, you’ll need to change the colors of each corner to match the Realm’s color. For example, if the symbol in the corner is a pentagon, it is the symbol of Fenn Aries, whose color is red.

Often times, the color that is most prevalent on the box will be the Realm’s color, but if you’re not sure, you can check the Realm’s color by clicking on the symbol in the corner. If the symbol lights up, then you’ve found the correct color and vice versa.

To rearrange the colored tiles, you’ll need to press the colored tiles on the board, each of which have their own functions:

Gray — Tile acts as an empty space and has no function.Black — Moves all of the tiles in the row one to the right.Red — Turns all white tiles black and all black tiles red.Green — Tile swaps positions with a tile in the opposite position.Yellow — Tile moves up one position.Pink — Rotates every adjacent tile one clockwise position.Purple — Tile moves down one position.Orange — Tile changes colors to match the majority of its adjacent tiles. If there adjacent tiles are evenly split, the tile will not change colors.White — Tile expands outwards if there are any adjacent gray tiles. If there are no adjacent gray tiles, the white tile will disappear.Blue — Tile will copy the ability of the tile in the middle of the 3×3 grid.

If you’ve made a mistake that precludes the ability to solve that puzzle box — such as getting rid of all of your white tiles — you can reset the grid by pressing the symbols in the corner when the color isn’t matching the Realm’s color.

Once all four corner tiles match the Realm’s color, press the symbols to complete the Mora Jai puzzle box.
