    Because they’re backed by literally billions in venture capital and they haven’t paid off yet. In fact, it looks increasingly unlikely they will.

    Lightbulbs are hardware, LLMs are software. Which is not to say software can’t have energy ratings, it’s just a disingenuous comparison. Does your word processor have an energy rating?
