    We’ve got an economy meant to substitute for the hunting and gathering of ancient times. That’s still going to be the goal even if many jobs disappear. So what does Gates propose we do to handle that?

    Well, if that’s the case we’d better isolate the 1% because that’s equivalent to saying they don’t need the 99%. If we don’t make sure we all share in the benefits of AI, perhaps reducing the work week to maybe 8 hours a week, we will be erased.
