This is heartbreaking, Same-sex relationship abuse isn’t discussed enough. Queer spaces don’t talk about it as much as they should, which leaves victims of this abuse feeling alone and confused as to whether what they’re going through can even be defined as abuse. Things are getting better, but not fast enough. I’m glad stories like these are posted so that maybe someone else going through abuse can see that this occurs and it is real.
