This is the second Guardian article I’ve seen that’s implied that Trump has ever had a good relationship with democracy and other countries. He’s not abandoning it, he never had anything close to a relationship with it. If anything, he’s dragging the US people away from Democracy, with a plurality of those who aren’t too apathetic to do something trailing along in his wake.
