WTF why would they not show their clothes on people of the sizes they sell. I would want to see someone of my frame in something more then some thin or well toned model.

      Someone didn’t read the article

Mrs Thom says she was “bombarded with images of obese girls in tights” after buying from Snag when she was pregnant. “I see Snag tights plastering these morbidly obese people all over social media,” she says. “How is that allowed when the photo of the Next model isn’t? There should be fairness, not politically correct body positivity. Adverts normalising an unhealthy weight, be it obese or severely underweight, are equally as harmful.”

    It’s dumb as fuck.

For one, the “next” model shouldn’t have been removed if she was modeling clothes in her size, because that’s doing the fucking job

You model, you’re going to need to fit the clothes being sold. Doesn’t matter if that’s size 6, 0, or 30. A model in the sizes being sold is necessary if you want customers to be able to estimate how the clothes will fit, which reduces returns and bad reviews.

You can just pick one size and fuck anyone that isn’t really close to that, but it will cost you a price in returns. Whether or not that’s a bad thing is a capitalist cost/profit equation, but we’re talking about a business, so that’s irrelevant.

If your business is based on clothing as wide a range of people as possible, you want as wide a range of models as possible.

Who gives a flying fuck if people that aren’t going to be buying your clothes in the first place don’t like some of the models? There’s always going to be whiny little fucks complaining about something anyway
