    I disagree. It’s a different use case.

I went dumbphone two years ago. Currently use a flip phone. Picked up a Rabbit R1 off eBay for cheap (fully intending to root it when the company folds). It’s really great when you want to know something quick and easy without getting distracted. The number of times I used to unlock my iPhone to look something up only to get distracted and put it away before even getting my answer is astonishing.

Many people complained about the rabbit at launch because they couldn’t figure out what to use it for. Thats because if you don’t have an immediate need for it (a question to ask), it doesn’t do anything for you. That’s kind of the point. It’s out of your way.

Obviously the AI Pin was far too ambitious with its projector screen, battery issues, and price, but the idea of a transparent out of the way limited-use assistant has legs. I hope someone eventually perfects it.
